On behalf of the Eparchy of New Westminster, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the charitable Gala Dinner held in Kelowna. The event was carried out with exceptional spiritual depth and organizational excellence, demonstrating the unity of our community and the strong support for the mission of the Eparchy.
Guests had the opportunity to experience an atmosphere of sincerity and inspiration, enriched by the performances of the talented bandura musicians Heorhiy Matviiv and Mariia Smolinska. Their artistry added beauty and nobility to the evening, reminding everyone of the enduring power of Ukrainian music.
A meaningful part of the program was the iconography workshop led by iconographer Serhii Kolodka, a graduate of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. His work and explanations opened for participants the profound spiritual dimension of iconography as a form of prayer born from love for God and for people.
The central moment of the evening was the address delivered by the Eparch, Most Rev. Bishop Michael. His message, filled with spiritual strength and pastoral wisdom, strengthened all present in hope, trust in Christ, and our shared mission of service. His words brought a sense of peace, grace, and spiritual upliftment to the entire gathering.
The Eparchy of New Westminster expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizers, benefactors, volunteers, and all attendees. Your support enables us to continue our ministry, expand eparchial programs, and deepen the spiritual life of our community throughout British Columbia.

Від імені Нювестмінстерської Єпархії хочемо щиро подякувати всім, хто долучився до благодійної Гала-вечері, що відбулася у місті Келовна. Захід пройшов на високому духовному та організаційному рівні, засвідчивши єдність нашої спільноти та глибоку підтримку місії Єпархії.
Учасники мали нагоду пережити атмосферу щирості та піднесення, яку створили виступи талановитих бандуристів Георгія Матвіїва та Марії Смолінської. Їхнє виконання надало вечорові шляхетності й нагадало про силу української музики.
Важливою частиною програми став майстер-клас від іконописця Сергія Колодки — випускника Львівської національної академії мистецтв. Його праця та пояснення відкрили присутнім глибину іконопису як молитви, яка народжується з любові до Бога та людей.
Центральним моментом став виступ Єпарха, Преосвященного Владики Михайла. Його слово, сповнене духовної сили та пастирської мудрості, укріпило всіх у надії, довір’ї до Христа та спільному служінні. Промова Владики наповнила залу відчуттям миру, благодаті та внутрішнього піднесення.
Нювестмінстерська Єпархія висловлює глибоку подяку організаторам, жертводавцям, волонтерам та всім присутнім. Ваша підтримка дає можливість продовжувати служіння, розвивати єпархіяльні програми та поглиблювати духовне життя нашої громади в Британській Колумбії.
